Good Morning Singapore

You own the day
You own the night
You put stars and sun in place
Psalm 74:16

It is amazing to see the sun breaks through the dawn. And it had been going on for centuries. Amazingly, the sun never fails to rise.

It's Freezing - Snow City

In Snow City. Celebrating Children's Day in 2005.

Poetry in motion. A setting error while shooting the ladies coming down the snow slide.

Serene in the holding room - get conditioned before before going into the winter wonderland.

Church Camp 2005 Family Shot

Taking a group photograph is never easy. To gather the group itself is a challenge, secondly you need a fair wide angle lens to get everyone in without making the people look too small. This time round, the hotel has a large lobby with high ceiling and pretty decent lighting. The angle was right and the people just ready.

Wonderful camp. Had a great time getting to know the kind soul from Oasis cell group. Ask the amazing story of how Richard Lim, Pang Hang, Doris and many others who rallied behind a sister who had a suspected stroke in a faraway land.

Pretty Women Spa

Rained for forever in Survivor Camp, these ladies decided to take a spa. Mud bath? Start learning at a young age, they would be pretty faces to watch in the future. Guys, get ready.

Faith (laughing) is gifted in piano. Would do wonder in the future. Opposite her is Yuhui, she is doing piano too and is a talented chess player - Singapore national junior squad (i think).

A Dog's Life

Whatz with the hot dog?

A lesson on grilling hotdog without fire. These guys were taught how to grill a hot dog using aluminium foil.

Form the foil and place the hot dog near the point where all the heat from the sun will converge.

It didn't work cos it rained throughout Survivor Camp.

Colonel Gabriel, the guy in yellow is a friend of Jerald and had moved to Australia. Cool guy, will end up in the army one day.

Kam Sia Very Much

GT Studio One was launched yesterday and two sisters, Janinez (that's her blog name?) and Valerie (Val) left comments.

Mei Leng suggested putting in 70s photographs and asked if blogs can be viewed by the public. She forwarded the link to Pek Meiling and Judy whose song and daughter were in the pictures. The 'Brother' mentioned is Meiling's son and Elizabeth, the special child is Judy's daughter.

Leonard said that it got him thinking and would ask her Pamela to help start one. It would be interesting to see what Leonard will come up with cos he is a really really candid person.

Jessica complimented her daughter pictures and I can't wait to see Jelene cos she is doing sailing now (something, that surprised me). Maybe I should drop by East Coast Sailing Club this Sunday to get a few shots.

Drop by often and explore as I try to post as many interesting pictures as possible.

Cheers

Survivor. Mud and More Mud

Muddy Mud Mates. We played football with the boys in a Survivor camp back in 2003 at Scout Camp. What a camp. It rained like for forty days and nights. Non stop. First we roughed it out in the tents and later moved to the A huts cos it flooded. Kudos to the kids. We have some as young as 7 years old roughing it out. We were the only campers around as others back off. Amazingly the kids got through. A rare display of human spirit.

Fishes. What A Fish!

This is amazing. A rubber tub full of ornamental fishes. William came up with this idea for a charity at Salvation Army back in 2003. Get an inflatable water tub and fill it up with fishes. Charge $3.00 for a minute for children to scoop up as many fishes as they can and it is theirs to keep.

We got a long queue and were having a splashing great time. We managed to raise a large sum of money. I think we came in second or third in the highest amount of fund raised.

Cool Cool Jelene

Not sure how I managed to get this shot. Jelene doesn't talk much, much less to get her to pose.

Taken back in 2002 on a KIDS.Church outing with AA. We were waiting to go into a movie theater or for a show in Sentosa. And I'm not sure what she was doing and I got this shot.

Why should I move in for other?

Moriah Angels Touch - Video Clip

The Making of Angels Touch. This is a video clip celebrating Moriah's finest moment. Angels Touch was produced by non professional, many of them with no theatre training with the exception of the director - Brian Seward. The production took less than six months of preparation, every members contributed - actors, ushers, logistics, make up, back stage.......... everyone is an amateur but the production isn't.

Moriah Angels Touch Production

Technically a difficult project cos I was not allow to shoot in flash. Here are personal favourites of the choir and children segment.

Amazing voice. Here is Peter posing for the camera. This scene is not from the production but a 'naughty' side of Peter.

The Choir.

Cute Sheeps.

KIDS. KIDS. KIDS.

Here are some pictures from an overnight stay at Changi Beach in 2004. One memorable children event cos I was instructed by Kenneth, the event manager to take at least a portrait of all the participants. I took hundreds of pictures and surprisingly he selected the pictures and make a 3D picture with frame for everyone. But there was none for me cos I was not in any of the pictures. :((

Amanda. In a water battle.

Brother. Great memory. Knew this boy cos he can't sleep at night and we talked for a long while. He had moved back to Malaysia.

Best of pal. Jireh and Shun. Jireh is in UK now as Dad is doing his Master or PHD there. Shun is Down Under cos Dad is with the RSAF.

My personal favourite. Jireh (second from left), Shun and Brother's Sister (third from right). Home Sweet Home. The winning team.

Elizabeth, a special child enjoying a run on the beach.

Jelene. It is in the eyes.

Ryane. Talented guitarist. A natural.

Kenneth and Jun Wei taking a walk in the rain. If you know Jun Wei, this picture is worth a thousand words.

Kenneth, one aspect of him which I admire.
