What Did You See?

What do you mean by "what did you see?" Yeah, it is just an escalator, what is there to see?

Well, you see - the escalator is one of the greatest invention of man. Or at least the product of year in Singapore. "You mean that making it easier to move from floor to floor is a great invention". No, I mean the romancing on the escalator. Didn't you notice that when a couple steps on the escalator, somehow the magic starts - first it was both on the same step, then the lady will move one step up and face the guy. They wrap their arms around each other and kiss. It is magical and spontaneous. No pre planning. Just magic.

It is a phenomenal. Makes a great research project for psychologists working for his PHD. The Singapore government would be interested in the findings. Singapore will be a fine green city with lots of escalators - Romancing Singapore and Baby Bonus project managers will certainly invest in them.

There will be escalators everywhere. In the malls, HDB blocks, hawker centres.... Horizontal, vertical types, circular and one that just goes round and round.
