Clear blue sky over East Coast and dark clouds at Suntec City. Zippy chilli Mini provides a contrast over the city skyline. Drove a Mini occasionally back in the 70s. Mr Bean's transporter, Mini is a chilli padi. Power in a small package. Don't belittle the matchbox. It is a great car. The Mini is priced with a premium here, out of reach from many suitors. Like the VW, the Volksawagen - people's car in German does well in Germany as the people's car but here it is a luxury. The cute Bettle in Europe is only a fraction of what it cost here.
No price for wondering why the streets in Singapore are littered with Hyundai, Toyota and Honda. Mercedes, BMW, VW, Saab and Volvo would make an impact if prices are reasonable.
